I ran a poll asking if I should add more eyes and the result was no.

digal linework, colored pencil on paper

Drawing this way is basically cheating, and I don't care.

I'm really pleased with how this one turned out! Triangles are rather pointy and thus violent-looking, so creating a shield out of them was a fun juxtaposition to play with. The dripping red was supposed to be blood, but I don't think it ended up looking much like it.

The code for this was somewhat optimized, so it actually managed to run at a few frames per second! The original idea behind this project was to create a different starscape every day so I could use it as a desktop wallpaper. The project's mostly abandoned now, but I do intend to return to it eventually.

At time of writing this is my desktop wallpaper! Unfortunately for this site, it only really looks right at 1:1 scaling.

The star-like effect on this one was a happy accident, I'm really pleased with how it came out! Unfortunately, it only really looks right at 1:1 scaling.

Friendship H (ver. 1)

The architecture of underground DC metro stations is absolutely stunning, so I wanted to create something including it.

Friendship H (ver. 2)

A refinement of the techniques used to create the previous work in this series. It looks a lot cleaner, but I feel like it's lost some of the artsyness of the previous version.

Further refinement of techniques; I feel it regained the artsy feeling that was lost in the last version. In addition, the program is now aware of the existance of colors other than red, resulting in non-red objects looking way better.
